Topic: Filled, Flowing and Finished

Introduction

We are powerless without the Holy Spirit. We cannot function effectively without Him, so we must depend on and pray for the gift and fullness of the Holy Spirit.

The month of July is our month of overflow. To step into our overflow, we must:

  1. Be filled with the Holy Spirit: Out of the fullness of the Holy Spirit within you will flow rivers of living water (John 7:38). Stay filled with God, and nothing will stop God’s grace in your life. Ask continually to be filled with the Holy Spirit.
  2. Let your life flow: Overflow is sharing what God has given you. Give out what God has poured into your life. Our lives should bring light and hope to the world. We are blessed to become a blessing to others. As the Bible says in Matthew 5:16, “Let your light shine before others” and therefore our life should brighten the lives of others.

  • Am I using my blessings to bless others?
